
Full Membership of the ICCBA is open to all lawyers admitted to the ICC List of Counsel or those who are eligible to practice before the ICC as independent defence or victims counsel.

Associate Membership is open to individuals who are admitted to the ICC List of Assistants or those assigned as support staff to a case at the ICC and have at least five years of relevant experience in international criminal law.
​
Affiliate Membership is open to individuals with demonstrable experience of international criminal law such as Professors of Law, ICC defence or victims support staff or counsel and support staff at other international, internationalized or hybrid courts of tribunals.
ICCBA General Assembly and Elections 2020
​
On 11 September 2020, the ICCBA held its annual General Assembly Meeting online. Elections for the committees for 2020-2021 were conducted, the full results of the elections are available on the Governance page. Mr. Peter Haynes QC, was re-elected as President of the Association.

ICCBA Officially Recognised by the ICC Assembly of States Parties
​
On behalf of the Executive Council, the ICCBA is pleased to announce that at the 18th Session of the ICC Assembly of States Parties (ASP), which took place in The Hague between 2 and 7 December 2019, a Resolution was adopted which officially recognizes the ICCBA as an independent representative body of counsel, in accordance with Rule 20(3) of the ICC Rules of Procedure and Evidence.

ICCBA Signs Affiliation Agreement with the Kuwait Bar Association

On 1 October 2019, the ICCBA signed an Affiliation Agreement with the Kuwait Bar Association. Further information is available here.

ICCBA Issues a Declaration on the Obligations under the ICC Code of Conduct and Proposed Amendments

On 2 March 2018, the ICCBA Executive Council and Professional Standards Advisory Committee issued a Declaration on the Obligations under the Code of Conduct for Counsel at the ICC and proposed amendments.

ICCBA Training - 16 January 2019
