On 5 October 2017, President Karim Khan QC signed the GQUAL Action Plan (available here) on behalf of the ICCBA at a signing ceremony held during the plenary session of the GQUAL conference in The Hague, Netherlands. The Action Plan was also signed by her H.E. Ana Helena Chacón Echeverría, the Second Vice-President of Costa Rica, H.E. Marta Maurás, Ambassador / Permanent Representative of Chile to the United Nations, Mr. John Hocking, Registrar of the ICTY, and other eminent persons (pictures of the event available here).

The GQUAL campaign seeks to raise awareness about and achieve concrete actions to address the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions in international bodies. More information on the campaign and its supporters is available at: www.gqualcampaign.org.
