ICCBA Submissions to the Independent Expert Review

At the 18th Session of the Assembly of States Parties in December 2019 it was decided to establish an Indepdenent Expert Review of the ICC to identify ways to strengthen the ICC and the Rome Statute in order to promote universal recognition of their central role in the global fight against impunity and enhance their overall functioning. Nine experts were appointed with Mr. Richard Goldstone appointed as Chair.

The ICCBA presented its written submissions in April 2020 after conducting meetings with the experts and discussions with the committees of the ICCBA. The written submissions are available below.
