The ICCBA and the Centre for Criminology at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law embarked on a joint project, ‘Advancing the Impact of Victim Participation at the International Criminal Court: Developing Avenues for Collaboration’, which was funded by the UK Economic and Social Research Council. From 2018 to 2020, Dr Rudina Jasini and Professor Carolyn Hoyle from the University of Oxford led the (ESRC) Impact Acceleration Award (IAA) project in cooperation with the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA).

As part of this project, a professional publication "Advancing the Impact of Victim Participation at the International Criminal Court: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Practice', was developed, offering the most up-to-date theoretical and jurisprudential developments of victim participation. The publication was launched via Webinar on 30 November 2020.

Further information on the project and a link to the publication are available here.
