Report of the ICCBA Working Group on Tax

In 2015, an ad hoc Working Group was established to examine the tax issues which are faced by Defence and Victims’ counsel and support staff at the ICC. In 2016, the work of this ad hoc Working Group was transferred to the ICCBA and after an in-depth analysis by the ICCBA Working Group on Tax, the Report has been prepared and is fully endorsed by the Executive Council.

Further work is required to implement changes in relation to the taxation system for independent counsel and their staff at the ICC, and I would welcome any feedback from members in this regard.
