Passing of Luis Del Castillo Aragón

It is with great sadness that the International Criminal Court Bar Association (ICCBA) was informed of the passing of Luis Del Castillo Aragón. The ICCBA Executive Council, on behalf of all members, expresses their condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time. The ICCBA also sends its condolences to the Bar of Barcelona and the International Criminal Bar.

Luis Del Castillo Aragón was a former Dean of the Bar Association of Barcelona and was former President and co-founder of the International Criminal Bar (ICB). During his career he was the recipient of many awards for defending human rights.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday 8 August 2018 at 11am at Tanatori Les Corts in Barcelona.
